STREET SMARTS #7
Every time you drive, the rubber on your tyres wears down a bit. When this happens, they start to lose their grip—especially when the roads are wet, which makes it even more hazardous to have worn tyres. So it’s extremely important to check your tyre treads after 2 to 3 years of use.
You can either read the wear indicator built into the tyres or just perform a quick “$1 test”. This is a handy way of telling if your tread is below the 1.6mm limit and if it’s time to change out those worn tyres.
Drive smarter, drive safer.
